Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
407 AM CDT Wed Jun 5 2024

.DISCUSSION...As we remain in a persistent weather pattern,
scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will be possible
again today. Given a humid airmass and wet fuels across most of
the area, there will be no fire weather concerns. A trend toward
somewhat drier conditions is expected toward the end of the week,
especially for more northern districts. Patchy fog is possible
through shortly after daybreak this morning and it will be
possible again late tonight into early Thursday morning.
