Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
227 PM CDT Wed Jun 5 2024

.DISCUSSION...Storm chances will come to an end Thursday evening
as a cold front continues to push south across central MS. Quiet
conditions will continue through the end of the week as the
previously mentioned cold front stalls out in the vicinity of the
Hwy 84 corridor with light and variable winds. Min RH values will
fall between 30-35% mainly for areas along and north of the I-20
corridor. Fire danger will not be a concern at this time. RH
trends will continued to be monitored through Friday evening.
Patchy fog will be possible late tonight into early Thursday
morning.
