...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT HOLMES...NORTHWESTERN YAZOO...
SOUTHEASTERN HUMPHREYS AND CENTRAL SHARKEY COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM
CDT...

At 427 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Belzoni to Louise to near Cary. Movement
was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Silver City, Louise, and Midnight around 430 PM CDT.
  Holly Bluff around 435 PM CDT.
  Thornton around 440 PM CDT.
  Tchula around 445 PM CDT.
  Yazoo City and Eden around 450 PM CDT.
  Howard around 455 PM CDT.
  Tolarville around 500 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
central, north central and west central Mississippi.
