...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1230 AM EDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of northern Florida, including the following
  counties, Bradford and Union.

* WHEN...Until 1230 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1119 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated moderate rainfall
    lingering over the area. Minor flooding is likely ongoing in
    the advisory area. Between 3 and 4.5 inches of rain have
    fallen since late this afternoon.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Starke, Raiford, Sampson, Hampton, Johnstown and Ellerbee.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
