.DISCUSSION...

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible over the
wildfire during the late afternoon and evening hours today.
Isolated to widely scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm
will remain in the forecast overnight through the early morning
hours on Wednesday, followed by increasing chances for showers
and thunderstorms on Wednesday afternoon. Westerly transport
winds this morning will shift to southwesterly during the
mid-afternoon hours today, with the Atlantic sea breeze
boundary and possibly thunderstorm outflows crossing the wildfire
late this afternoon, possibly resulting in breezy and erratic
surface winds. Hot temperatures will create elevated mixing
heights before showers and thunderstorms develop later this
afternoon, resulting in good to marginally high daytime
dispersion value today. Surface and transport winds will shift
to southerly after sunset this evening and then
east-southeasterly after sunrise on Wednesday. Breezy conditions
outside of developing showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday
afternoon should result in fair to good daytime dispersion
values despite thickening cloud cover and increasing rainfall
chances.
