A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...
  Coastal waters from Altamaha Sound to Fernandina Beach FL out 20
  NM...
  Coastal waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL out 20
  NM...

At 510 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 9 nm north of Amelia City to 17
nm west of Talbot Island, moving southeast at 10 knots. Other storms
were near Jekyll Island moving southeast at 10 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
