...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN KNOX AND EASTERN
WHITLEY COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM EDT...

At 452 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Perkins, or 7 miles northeast of Williamsburg, moving southeast at 30
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Williamsburg, Barbourville, Julip, Artemus, Swan Lake, Clate,
Birdseye, Verne, Gausdale, King, Louden, Polly Camp, Nevisdale,
Dixie, Avis, Siler, Flat Lick, Permon, Wilton, and Himyar.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
