...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN MORGAN...
NORTHWESTERN JOHNSON AND SOUTHERN ELLIOTT COUNTIES THROUGH 830 PM
EDT...

At 754 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Steele, or near Sandy Hook, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
West Liberty, Sandy Hook, Lenox, Moon, Lick Branch, Little Sandy,
Galen, Flatgap, Jeptha, Barnrock, Wrigley, Lytten, Elna, Gillem
Branch, Redbush, Relief, Kerz, Elamton, Pomp, and Isonville.

THIS INCLUDES U.S. Highway 23 in Johnson County between mile markers
13 and 15.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
southeastern, northeastern and east central Kentucky.
