NORTHWESTERN PERRY AND SOUTH CENTRAL BREATHITT COUNTIES THROUGH 730
PM EDT...

At 705 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Lamont to near Kaliopi. Movement was northwest
at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Buckhorn, Altro, Bush Branch, Saul, Dryhill, Lamont, Shoal, Toulouse,
Kaliopi, Krypton, Barwick, Wolf Coal, Confluence, Beech, Gays Creek,
Little, Mosley Bend, Whick, Chavies, and Thousandsticks.

THIS INCLUDES Hal Rogers Parkway between mile markers 44 and 48, and
between mile markers 51 and 52.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
