...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of Florida, including the following county,
  Upper Keys in Monroe County.

* WHEN...Until 945 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 747 PM EDT, National Weather Service Meteorologist
    detected heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
    ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
    Between 4 and 5 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Key Largo, Jewfish Creek Bridge, Plantation, Rock Harbor,
    Route 1/card Sound, Route 1/card Sound Road Split, Windley
    Key, Ocean Reef, Upper Matecumbe Key and North Key Largo.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the
roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
safely.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
