Minor to moderate coastal flooding associated with seasonal king tides will continue today and tonight, especially across the Bayside of the Upper Keys where a Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible today and tonight. The primary hazards will be heavy downpours, locally gusty winds, and lightning strikes. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible Monday and Monday night, with scattered thunderstorms forecast for Tuesday through Saturday. The primary hazards will be heavy downpours, locally gusty winds, and lightning strikes. Tropical low pressure is likely to develop in the northwestern Caribbean Sea during the next few days, then lift northward through the central or eastern Gulf of Mexico during the middle and later part of this week. There is still high uncertainty as to the magnitude and timing of any impacts to the Florida Keys from this system. We do expect increasing east to southeast winds across the Florida Keys coastal waters beginning Tuesday, and Small Craft Advisories may be required for parts or all of the Keys waters from Tuesday night through Friday. All interests in the Florida Keys should continue to closely monitor the latest forecast updates from the National Hurricane Center and your National Weather Service office in Key West during the next several days. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not expected at this time. $$
