Through 300 AM, isolated showers and potential thunderstorms will
wax and wane while moving across the outer Gulf waters and the
Florida Straits surrounding the Dry Tortugas Ecological Zone, as well
as the outer Florida Straits west of Cay Sal Bank. This activity
will move west at near 20 knots and mariners may encounter wind gusts
up to 30 knots, reduced visibilities in brief bouts of moderate to
heavy rainfall, and a stray lightning strike.
