Through 1030 am, widely scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will move southeastward at 5 to 10 mph, and be located broadly across the Florida Straits and into the gulf side near S Tower and Smith Shoal. The stronger activity will produce a rare lighting strike, wind gusts of 20 to 25 mph, and blinding downpours. Some of this activity will be found in and around Long Key and the Matecumbes. Additional rainfall of one half to one inch will be possible. $$
