Through 1000 pm, stratiform rain with isolated embedded stronger
showers will wax and wane across the Florida Keys as well as the
adjacent nearshore and offshore coastal waters. This activity will
move generally to the northwest near 15 knots. Mariners encountering
the stronger activity can expect wind gusts of near 25 knots,
reduced visibilities in moderate to heavy downpours, and possibly a
rare cloud to surface lightning strike.
