Through 700 AM, scattered showers and an isolated thunderstorm will
wax and wane while moving west to northwest at 15 to 20 knots across
the Florida Keys and their surrounding nearshore waters. Mariners
may encounter wind gusts of 25 to 30 knots, reduced visibilities in
brief bouts of moderate to heavy rainfall, and a stray lightning
strike. Island communities could see an additional tenth to a quarter
