.NOW...
Through 500 pm, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms over
the South Florida mainland were moving to the south near 10 knots.
These showers and thunderstorms are expected to move over portions of
Florida Bay and potentially the Upper Keys over the course of the
next hour. In addition, a few isolated showers remain across the
Middle Keys and the offshore Gulf waters north and east of the Dry
Tortugas. This activity will be capable of moderate to heavy
downpours reducing visbilities, wind gusts of near 25 knots, and
potentially some lightning strikes. Island communities of the Middle
Keys could see rainfall amounts of a few tenths of an inch.
