Through 1100 pm, isolated showers and possibly a thunderstorm will move west northwestward at 25 mph, mainly through the Florida Straits. The stronger activity will produce wind gusts of 30 to 35 mph, blinding downpours, and potentially a rare lightning strike. Island locations near Ocean Reef and North Key Largo may be affected briefly by a few of these passing showers. $$
