Mariners encountering this activity can expect occasional to frequent lightning strikes, heavy downpours reducing visibility, and gusts of 25 to 30 knots. Island communities of the Middle and Lower Keys can expect impacts with rainfall amounts of around half an inch of accumulated rain within the next hour or so. $$
