Through 500 am, isolated showers and thunderstorms will move
northwest at 15 to 20 knots across the Straits of Florida and Hawk
Channel, with a few showers moving across parts of the Middle and
Upper Keys into Florida Bay. Mariners may encounter wind gusts
around 25 knots, reduced visibilities in heavy downpours, and
occasional lightning strikes. On land, a few spots from Marathon to
Key Largo may see rainfall amounts up to one quarter inch.
