.NOW...
Through 830 pm, isolated showers and thunderstorms over the Middle
Keys, Hawk Channel, and the Straits of Florida off the Middle Keys
continue to move to the south to southwest between 5 to 10 knots
along an outflow boundary. New showers and storms may form along this
boundary as it continues on its west to southwestward trajectory
through the Lower Keys and surrounding nearshore and offshore
waters. Any activity will be capable of moderate to heavy downpours
reducing visbilities, wind gusts of 25 to 30 knots, and potentially
some lightning strikes. Island communities could see rainfall amounts
of a few to several tenths of an inch from any shower or storm that
tries to form.
