Through 130 am, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will move west northwest at 15 to 20 knots from the Florida Straits and Hawk Channel through parts of the Middle and Lower Keys and into the Gulf side waters. The stronger activity will produce wind gusts near 30 knots, blinding downpours, and frequent lightning strikes. On land, many areas from Long Key to Key West will see rainfall amounts from one tenth up to one half inch, along with wind gusts around 30 mph, as the showers and storms move through. $$ Jacobson
