Through 5 AM, scattered showers will track west to northwestward at 25 to 30 mph, through the near and offshore waters surrounding the Florida Keys, as well as, the Florida Straits south of the Dry Tortugas and Rebecca Shoal. The stronger activity will produce wind gusts near 25 kts, or 30 mph, and reduced visibility in heavy rain. Island locations along the Middle and Lower Keys will be most likely to be affected by this activity and additional rainfall of one tenth to one quarter of an inch is possible. $$ DP
