Through 2 pm, scattered showers with isolated embedded thunderstorms across the Straits of Florida between Wood`s Wall East Crack and Floyd`s Wall Northeast, as well as in the Gulf waters between the Tortugas Ecological Reserve South and W Tower, will move north to northeast at 10 to 15 knots. Mariners can expect moderate to heavy downpours reducing visibilities below 2 miles, wind gusts nearing 30 knots, and occasional lightning strikes within the stronger storms. $$ NB
