Through 600 pm, a line of showers and embedded thunderstorms
continues to move east to southeast between 10 to 15 knots across
the offshore Gulf waters. The showers over the eastern Keys coastal
waters have moved northeast out of the area. Mariners encountering
this activity can expect reduced visibility to less than 3 miles,
especially inside thunderstorm activity, wind gusts to near 30 knots,
and occasional cloud to ground lightning strikes. The stronger
activity will be handled with Special Marine Warnings.
