Through 800 am, patches of stratiform rain will move across the Florida Keys and their adjacent waters. While most rainfall will be light and spread out, lingering thunderstorms are present in the outer Florida Straits south of Wood`s Wall and moving east at near 15 knots. Mariners encountering these showers can expect occasional lighting strikes, moderate to heavy downpours reducing visibility, and localized gusts near 25 knots. An additional up to a tenth of an inch of rain is possible over the Florida Keys. $$ AJP
