Through 600 am, isolated showers will wax and wane while moving
northeast to east at 5 to 10 mph across parts of the Upper Keys,
Middle Keys and their nearshore waters. Mariners may encounter wind
gusts around 20 mph, reduced visibilities in moderate to heavy
downpours, and a stray lightning strike. On land, island communities
may see rainfall amounts of up to a quarter of an inch.
