Through 100 am, widespread showers and thunderstorms will move
northeastward at 20 to 25 knots through the Straits of Florida, with
the strongest activity currently located south of Wood`s Wall East
Crack. This activity is capable of blinding downpours, occasional
lightning strikes, and wind gusts of up to 35 knots. Island
communities could receive up to a quarter inch of additional
rainfall.
