.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns will be elevated to near critical on
Thursday. Gusty winds in combination with low min RH across far
northwest Sandhills will lead to near critical fire weather
concerns across portions of fire weather zone 204 and 208. Winds
will increase to 15 to 20 mph sustained in the afternoon across
the Sandhills, with gust of 25 to 30 mph. Low min RH values
will range from 13 to 20 percent across far northwest Sandhills,
and above 20 percent elsewhere. This weekend will also see
elevated to near critical fire weather concerns for fire weather
zones 204, 206 and 208 as min RH values will range from the upper
teens to 25 percent, both Saturday and Sunday. Winds will be
around 10 to 15 mph with gust up to 25 mph on Sunday.
