This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

A few thunderstorms are possible this evening across western
portions of Nebraska. An isolated storm may become severe, generally
along and west of highway 61. Large hail and damaging wind gusts are
the main threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Gusty southerly winds Monday and Tuesday, may lead to elevated fire
weather conditions across the area.

Thunderstorms are possible Monday. At this time, the threat for
severe weather is low.

Thunderstorms are likely late Tuesday into Tuesday night across the
area. Severe storms are possible, mainly west of a line from Wauneta
to Valentine where a marginal risk for severe storms exists.

There are additional chances for thunderstorms Thursday night
through Saturday. The threat for any severe weather will be evaluated
as the time period gets closer.
