This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

There is a slight risk for a few severe thunderstorms across the
northwest Sandhills where thunderstorms are forecast to develop
around 4 pm CT/3 PM MT and move southeastward into the evening.
Damaging winds and large hail will be the primary severe weather
hazards. The thunderstorms will exit south and east of the outlook
area before midnight CT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Scattered thunderstorms remain in the forecast through Sunday with
the greatest concern being on Wednesday when a cold front is
forecast to move through.

Wednesday and Thursday the upper ridge builds east where
temperatures will soar into the 90s throughout with triple digit
heat likely across southwest Nebraska on both days.
