It was a hot day across southwest Nebraska today to the south of a
warm front. Meanwhile it was much cooler across northern Nebraska
to the north of the warm front. Highs ranged from 71 degrees at
Ainsworth to 95 degrees at Ogallala. Scattered severe
thunderstorms developed along the warm front across northern
Nebraska this afternoon. Additional severe thunderstorms developed
across the Panhandle.

Storms will continue across northern Nebraska and the Sandhills
overnight tonight. Additional storms are possible Friday afternoon
with a break from the storms this weekend.
