After some early morning thunderstorms across northeast Nebraska,
the region had a taste of summer heat as abundant sunshine allowed
afternoon temperatures to rise well into the 90s with a few triple
digit readings along and south of Interstate 80. Tomorrow will be
a few degrees cooler as a weak front drops southward and makes an
uneventful passage through the area. Warm conditions continue as
thunderstorm chances start to increase Thursday night thorugh
Friday.
