This afternoon, severe thunderstorms tracked across southwest and
north central Nebraska, bringing large hail, high wind gusts, and
locally heavy rainfall. High temperatures were in the mid 70s
across north central Nebraska, mid to upper 80s across the
Sandhills, into the mid 90s across southwest Nebraska. Outside of
thunderstorms, skies were mostly clear. Winds were mostly out of
the south and southeast around 15 to 20 miles per hour, with
stronger winds around thunderstorms.

Tonight, lows will mostly be in the 50s, with portions of
southwest Nebraska in the lower 60s. Skies will gradually become
cloudy overnight. Winds become northerly overnight, around 10 to
15 miles per hour.
