...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN ARTHUR...
SOUTHWESTERN GRANT AND EAST CENTRAL GARDEN COUNTIES THROUGH 900 PM
MDT...

At 810 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 18
miles west of Arthur, moving northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Swede Lake, Velma, Jensen Lake, and Bourquim Hill.

This includes Highway 61 near mile marker 133.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
the Panhandle of and west central Nebraska.
