...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL CHERRY...
NORTHEASTERN GRANT AND NORTHWESTERN HOOKER COUNTIES THROUGH 1015 PM
MDT...

At 922 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Whitman, or 27 miles west of Mullen, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Whitman, Duluth, Sevenmile Hill, Weir, Hire, and Hecla.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 2 between mile markers 151 and 174.
 Highway 97 between mile markers 72 and 81.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
