...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN CHERRY...
NORTHWESTERN BROWN...NORTHERN KEYA PAHA AND WESTERN BOYD COUNTIES
THROUGH 1030 PM CDT...

At 939 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles southeast of Wewela to 9 miles east of
Valentine. Movement was east at 65 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Norden, Burton, Nets Peak, Mills, Sparks, and Smith Falls State Park.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 183 between mile markers 215 and 225.
 Highway 20 between mile markers 201 and 204.
 Highway 83 near mile marker 207.
 Highway 12 between mile markers 2 and 39, between mile markers 57
and 76, and between mile markers 84 and 86.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in North Platte.
