At 415 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles southeast of Wellfleet to 15 miles northeast of Culbertson. Movement was east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Curtis, Wellfleet, Moorefield, Stockville, Medicine Creek Reservoir State Recreation Area, Maywood, Quick, Hansen Memorial Reserve State Wildlife Management Area, Freedom, Orafino, Bluegill Haven Campground, Dancing Leaf Earth Lodge, and Willow View Campground.
