...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EASTERN PERKINS AND NORTHEASTERN
CHASE COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM MDT...

At 555 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Imperial, moving north at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Imperial, Madrid, Elsie, and Wanamaker State Wildfire Management
Area.

This includes Highway 61 between mile markers 41 and 64.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
