...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN CHERRY COUNTY
THROUGH 1100 PM CDT...

At 1020 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles south of Medicine Lake, or 39 miles east of Gordon, moving
northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Nenzel, Medicine Lake, Indian Hill, Schoolhouse Lake, Steer Creek
Campground, and Anderson Bridge State Wildlife Management Area.

This includes Highway 20 between mile markers 166 and 173.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in North Platte.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 AM CDT for
north central Nebraska.
