At 850 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 14 miles southeast of Valentine to 8 miles southwest of Johnstown to near Thedford. Movement was east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Ainsworth, Thedford, Halsey, Johnstown, Purdum, Elsmere, Wood Lake, Moon Lake, Willow Lake State Wildlife Management Area, Long Lake State Wildlife Management Area, Highway 83 crossing the North Loup River, Koshopah, Natwick, and Highway 83 crossing Goose Creek.
