...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN FRONTIER...SOUTH
CENTRAL LINCOLN AND EAST CENTRAL HAYES COUNTIES THROUGH 1100 PM
CDT...

At 1010 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles southwest of Curtis, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Curtis, Wellfleet, Moorefield, Maywood, and Hansen Memorial Reserve
State Wildlife Management Area.

This includes Highway 83 between mile markers 33 and 57.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in North Platte.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for
southwestern Nebraska.
