* IMPACTS...At 40.0 feet, Moderate flooding occurs.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 40.7 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:15 AM CDT Tuesday was 41.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
early Thursday morning and continue falling to 35.7 feet

* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 36.0 feet, Major lowland flooding will occur. Sabine
Sands Road has about one to three feet of water covering the road.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 35.7 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:15 AM CDT Tuesday was 35.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 35.8

* WHEN...Until early Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 2.0 feet, Minor flooding of Goos Ferry Road will
occur.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:35 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 1.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river will oscillate around flood stage with a
maximum value of 2.1 feet this evening.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Calcasieu River near Glenmora.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Some roads upstream from Glenmora,
including Strothers Crossing Road near the community of Calcasieu
and Price Crossing Road near Hineston have two to three feet of
water over the road and are subject to being closed. Flooding of
forested areas near the river will also occur.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 13.4 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:45 AM CDT Tuesday was 13.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 12.4 feet Sunday
morning.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

forecast.
* WHERE...Sabine River near Deweyville.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 27.0 feet, Widespread moderate lowland flooding will
occur. Homes in Deweyville closest to the river are flooded.
Flooding of homes in the Indian Lakes and River Oaks sections will
also occur. Low-lying roads and a few homes in Southwest
Beauregard Parish have some flooding.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 26.2 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:45 AM CDT Tuesday was 26.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 26.7
feet Thursday evening.
- Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
