...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY SUNDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Sabine River near Burkeville.

* WHEN...Until early Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 36.0 feet, Residential flooding in the River Bend
  Subdivision occurs.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:15 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 38.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:15 PM CDT Wednesday was 38.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Saturday afternoon and continue falling to 35.7 feet
    Monday evening.
  - Flood stage is 36.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Calcasieu River near Glenmora.

* WHEN...Until Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, When the river is falling and the gauge
  reading is forecast to be near 12 feet, flooding of forested areas
  near the river will occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 12.9 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:45 PM CDT Wednesday was 13.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Sunday morning and continue falling to 11.6 feet Monday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Sabine River near Bon Wier.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 35.0 feet, Expect several secondary roads in the
  Merryville and Bon Wier areas near the river to be closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:15 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 35.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:15 PM CDT Wednesday was 35.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 32.9 feet Monday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 30.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 2.0 feet, Minor flooding of Goos Ferry Road will
  occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:35 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 1.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will oscillate around flood stage with a
    maximum value of 2.0 feet early Friday morning.
  - Flood stage is 2.0 feet.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Sabine River near Deweyville.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 27.0 feet, Widespread moderate lowland flooding will
  occur. Homes in Deweyville closest to the river are flooded.
  Flooding of homes in the Indian Lakes and River Oaks sections will
  also occur. Low-lying roads and a few homes in Southwest
  Beauregard Parish have some flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 6:16 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 26.6 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 6:16 PM CDT Wednesday was 26.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 26.7
    feet just after midnight tonight.
  - Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
