Fire Weather Planning Forecast
National Weather Service Lake Charles LA
334 PM CDT Sun Jun 9 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Low level moisture has been steadily increasing throughout the
day on southerly flow. High pressure overhead has kept today hot
and dry, but the pattern changes starting tomorrow. Low pressure
digging across the Great Lakes region is sending a weak cold front
down through the southeast US.

Rain and thunderstorm chances increase with its arrival tomorrow.
This feature remains draped across the Louisiana coastline for the
next several days which will result in increased chances for afternoon
showers and thunderstorms.
