...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT RAPIDES...NORTHWESTERN AVOYELLES
AND NORTHEASTERN VERNON PARISHES THROUGH 1245 AM CDT...
At 1215 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles north of Holloway to near Esler
Regional Airport to near Clifton. Movement was east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Alexandria, Pineville, Boyce, Alexandria International Airport,
Hineston, Lena, Ball, Colfax, Tioga, Timber Trails, Hutton, Esler
Regional Airport, Flatwoods, Otis, Elmer, Kingsville, Sieper, Kolin,
Holloway, and Deville.
This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 73 and 109.
