471 FZUS63 KDTX 011932 GLFLH Open Lake Forecast for Lake Huron National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac MI 332 PM EDT Sat Jun 1 2024 For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...Low pressure, 29.80 inches, will move from northern Illinoin into southern Lower Michigan tonight. Rain will overspread the lakes in response to this low pressure system. The low will weaken on Sunday, allowing high pressure of 30.00 inches to expand across Lower Michigan by Monday and allowing tranquil marine conditions. A warm front is forecast to lift into the southern lakes on Tuesday, providing a chance for thunderstorms. This warm front will be followed by a strong cold front on Wednesday, sustaining the chance for thunderstorms.
