761 FZUS63 KDTX 171337 GLFLH Open Lake Forecast for Lake Huron National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac MI 937 AM EDT Mon Jun 17 2024 For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...The Great Lakes will remain wedged between high pressure over the western Atlantic and low pressure, 29.50 inches, which will move from the Dakotas into western Lake Superior late tonight into tomorrow evening. This will reinforce south to southwest flow over the lakes through the early week period. Winds remain light, with some localized strong winds expected through the Saginaw Bay into central Lake Huron given the favorable southwest fetch.
