Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
332 AM CDT Tue May 28 2024

.DISCUSSION...

There will be the potential for afternoon thunderstorms each day this
week, but areal coverage of storms is likely to be rather
limited. Generally drier air will work into the area beginning today.
Minimum afternoon humidities could fall below 40 percent
today north of Interstate 10, potentially near 30 percent in
some locations, but should moderate a bit on Wednesday with
slightly cooler high temperatures.
