...The Flood Advisory continues for the following rivers in Nevada...

  Humboldt River At Comus affecting Humboldt County.

.The Humboldt River at Comus is expected to continue to slowly rise
through midweek but remain in action stage before beginning to
gradually fall late this week.

For the Lower Humboldt...including Comus...elevated river levels are
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you are in the advisory area, remain alert to possible flooding
or the possibility of the advisory being upgraded to a warning.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternative route.

Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.

Next issuance will be by this afternoon at 500 PM PDT.

...FLOOD ADVISORY FOR SNOWMELT REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE SATURDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...Elevated river flows due to seasonal snowmelt.

* WHERE...Humboldt River at Comus.

* WHEN...Until late Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Very minor lowland flooding along the
  reach. No flooding in Winnemucca.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:15 AM PDT Wednesday the stage was 8.8 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 8.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will fall to 8.9 feet late this
    afternoon. It will then rise to 9.0 feet late this evening.
    It will fall to 8.8 feet tomorrow afternoon. It will then
    rise to 8.9 feet tomorrow evening.
  - Action stage is 8.5 feet.
  - Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
