For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...An expansive 30.3 inch high will extend to the lower
Great Lakes from the New England coast through Wednesday. A broad
upper level disturbance centered over the southern Appalachians
on Wednesday will then drift north and further weaken on Thursday.
High pressure over Quebec will then strengthen and once again
extend across the Lower Great Lakes for the end of the week.
